Head of Section Engineering/Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Preventive Maintenance (PM) team in executing daily maintenance activities.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance for production machinery, equipment, and utilities.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts during machine breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Manage and troubleshoot machine control systems, including Siemens PLC and other automation platforms.
• Monitor machine performance, downtime, and maintenance costs to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, GMP standards, 5S practices, and company policies.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (min. 3 years experience) or Diploma (min. 5 years experience) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and automation systems (Siemens preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP PM.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN, or Power BI.
• Exposure to IoT technologies, GMP, and 5S methodologies.
