Head of Science

Responsibilities

• Lead the Science department at GEMS Founders School, Al Mizhar
• Embody and role model core values of Grow, Flourish, and Mindfulness
• Share exemplary teaching practices and provide outstanding learning and teaching
• Contribute positively to the school community through extra-curricular programmes and community events
• Work closely with colleagues, students, and parents using excellent interpersonal skills

Requirements

• BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent in Science
• Proven experience teaching Science to GCSE and A level classes
• UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching both inside and outside the classroom
