Head of Sanctions Service Delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead a global Sanctions Operations team consisting of 5 Senior Operations Managers and over 500 Sanctions Agents
• Coach, develop, and performance manage the team to foster a high-performance culture
• Own demand and capacity planning to ensure adequate staffing levels to support customers
• Manage service delivery by monitoring queues to ensure timely customer responses
• Maintain strong strategic relationships with Compliance, Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams
• Develop long-term team capabilities, including skills mapping, training plans, and strategic staff placement
• Proactively monitor process controls and investigate any irregularities in performance
• Act as a subject matter expert for sanctions processes and tooling

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience leading teams specifically within Sanctions
• Proven ability to set targets and hold teams accountable to performance metrics
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to forecast and move team metrics
• Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple complex projects
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple cultures, geographies, and disciplines
• Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS) certification or similar
• Additional language skills relevant to Wise's operational jurisdictions
