Head of SAM Purchasing & SQM, Americas

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic member of the BA SAM Americas Leadership Team to drive regional strategy and cross-functional alignment
• Lead, mentor, and develop multi-location teams in Procurement and Supplier Quality to ensure strong succession pipelines
• Drive regional supplier localization initiatives to strengthen supply chain resilience and competitiveness across the Americas
• Advance Supplier Quality Management processes and champion development programs to enhance supplier capabilities
• Ensure regional teams achieve all supplier-related milestones throughout the product development lifecycle
• Collaborate with Category Management to achieve regional targets for cost competitiveness, productivity, and operational efficiency
• Translate global procurement and supplier quality strategies into actionable and measurable regional execution plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, supplier management, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing people
• Minimum 2 years of cross-functional experience
• Deep expertise in Supplier Quality Management (SQM) and procurement excellence frameworks
• Strong knowledge of product development processes
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to travel across the Americas as required
