Head of Sales

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development by identifying and targeting potential clients through market research and direct networking
• Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Lead solution selling efforts, including product demonstrations and value proposition presentations
• Manage the full sales cycle, including pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and deal closure
• Oversee key account management to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention
• Develop strategic account plans to deepen engagement and increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling
• Collaborate with internal product, support, and marketing teams to deliver a seamless client experience
• Monitor account performance metrics and conduct regular business reviews with clients

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in sales and account management within the BFSI, Fintech, or SaaS sectors
• Proven experience in independently managing accounts and owning P&L
• Deep understanding of the Banking and NBFC sectors in India
• Demonstrated ability to drive high-level discussions for platform sales and account management
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
• Engineering degree, with an MBA or equivalent degree preferred
• Knowledge of banking products, debt instruments, and financial regulations is a significant plus
