About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Central Valley area
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and supporting documentation for client engagements
  • Maintain an active and accurate pipeline using CRM tools
  • Work closely with operations and internal teams to support onboarding and service delivery
  • Provide regular updates on activity, pipeline, and performance
  • Support growth within existing accounts where opportunities arise

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, outside sales, or a related role
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build pipeline, and close new business
  • Experience working in a B2B environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting
  • Ability to travel locally within the Central Valley

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in service-based, industrial, or operational environments
  • Existing relationships within the Central Valley business community
  • Experience with proposals, pricing, or contract discussions
  • Background working with cross-functional teams

Benefits

  • Total compensation: $210,000 to $230,000
  • Bonus or commission structure based on performance
