Head of Sales, Data Center Practice

Responsibilities

• Own the full commercial motion for Flexport’s Data Center practice from pipeline generation through close and expansion
• Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing sales team including hiring, onboarding, and coaching Account Executives
• Define and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting hyperscalers, co-location providers, and OEM hardware manufacturers
• Establish and drive revenue goals and quotas while monitoring key performance metrics
• Partner with operations and product teams to design mission-critical logistics solutions
• Represent Flexport as a subject-matter authority at industry events and in RFP processes

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience including selling complex, high-value logistics or supply chain solutions
• Deep familiarity with the data center, hyperscaler, or critical infrastructure ecosystem
• Proven track record as a top-performing individual contributor and early-stage team builder
• Strong consultative selling skills for multi-stakeholder deals involving procurement and executive leadership
• Excellent analytical and commercial judgment for pipeline management and forecasting
• Exceptional communication skills to build trust from Account Executives to the C-suite
• Compliance-first mindset for operating in heavily regulated industries
