Head of Residential Capital Markets

Responsibilities

• Build the capital markets foundation for a residential credit platform
• Translate institutional investor needs into product, underwriting frameworks, and data standards
• Establish forward-flow, whole-loan, structured credit, warehouse, and private credit relationships
• Own structuring, pricing, eligibility criteria, and risk logic to meet institutional standards
• Partner with senior leadership on market design, capital formation, and product strategy
• Develop reporting, controls, and monitoring standards for institutional investors

Requirements

• Deep expertise in structured credit, structured products, or institutional capital markets
• Experience with institutional capital, forward-flow, securitization, or warehouse lines
• Ability to translate complex investor requirements into technical product and data standards
• Proven track record of building or driving significant financial structures or products
• Strong commercial instincts and risk/pricing judgment
• Excellent communication skills for sophisticated capital and executive audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to RMBS, MBS, SFR, or real estate private credit
• Experience negotiating credit facilities or institutional capital programs
• Background in lean or ambiguous environments requiring infrastructure building
• Experience creating investor materials, credit narratives, or collateral stratifications
