Head of Research

Responsibilities

• Generate timely and accurate investment recommendations, stocks, sectors, and ideas to deliver substantial returns
• Lead and guide the equity research analyst team in conducting research and valuation of companies
• Coordinate with Institutional clients, Private Client Group (PCG), HNI, and retail clients
• Develop financial models reflecting companies' overall performance and valuation
• Analyze industry-specific trends, regulatory environments, and identify sector opportunities
• Design and develop research product offerings tailored for different clientele segments
• Oversee budgets and policies for the Research Department
• Handle client interactions, conference calls, corporate meetings, and road shows

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in institutional research or mutual funds
• At least 5+ years of experience leading or supervising teams
• MBA from a leading institution, CFA, or CA qualification
• Proven experience servicing Institutional Clients
• Experience covering 100+ companies
• Age 40 and above
• Thorough knowledge of financial markets, equity operations, and trading strategies
