Head of Regulatory Reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead the Regulatory Compliance vertical, managing a sub-team and providing advisory support to the business
• Oversee regulatory obligations across the UK and overseas jurisdictions, including Africa and Asia
• Lead the delivery of the risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan, Horizon Scanning, and Regulatory Change programme
• Provide FCA and SMCR operational support and maintain regulatory policies and control frameworks
• Deliver senior-level reporting, management information (MI), and key risk indicators (KRIs)
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and manage relationships with regulators regarding inspections and enquiries

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience at a Director or Head of Regulatory Compliance level within financial services or development finance
• Degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, Risk, or a related field (Postgraduate degree required)
• Extensive experience with the UK FCA and regulatory regimes in emerging markets or higher-risk jurisdictions
• Proven experience in team management and leading compliance functions
• Strong ability to synthesize complex regulatory requirements into practical business guidance
• Exceptional communication and Board-level reporting skills
