Head of Quality

Responsibilities

• Ensure Omexom UK & ROI maintains full compliance with all ISO accreditations, including ISO 9001.
• Lead the Omexom Integrated Management System (IMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).
• Establish and maintain a programme of continuous improvement in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Act as the Responsible Person for all Quality matters, identifying legal and best practice requirements.
• Oversee compliance with ISO accreditations, ensuring successful certification and surveillance audits.
• Provide Quality governance and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead, coach, and support a small Head Office Quality Assurance team.
• Manage corporate quality processes, document control, and audit planning.
• Investigate and ensure the timely close-out of reported non-conformances.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in a relevant subject matter, such as health, safety, or environment.
• Chartered member of CQI, or currently working towards it.
• IRCA certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.
• Proven senior-level experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities, or a similar regulatory-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality legislation, accreditation, and management systems.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate from the ground level to the Boardroom.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues while balancing organizational risk with business needs.
