Head of Quality Braking NA

Responsibilities

• Lead the North American Braking Quality organization, overseeing both Production Quality and Quality Planning.
• Serve as the overall Quality Lead for EMB programs, developing quality standards and strategies across all departments.
• Represent ZF in customer quality communications with major clients such as GM and STLA, and manage escalations.
• Ensure daily production quality adherence and manage NCTs/NCCs.
• Drive APQP and launch quality processes for new programs.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement systemic corrective actions for major quality issues.
• Reinforce 5S and maintenance discipline within North American plants.
• Coordinate continuous improvement activities and standardized measurement methods.

Requirements

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage culturally diverse and cross-functional teams, including remote management.
• Experience in the automotive industry, specifically with mechatronics and product development.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, processes, tools, and techniques in complex environments.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage quality budgets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational hierarchy levels.
• High orientation toward results, customer satisfaction, and change management.
