Head of Quality - A220

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the A220 Program
• Oversee inspection, test, and certification systems to ensure aircraft conformity and airworthiness release
• Manage a team of 5–7 quality professionals, focusing on skills development and training
• Act as the "Voice of the Customer" by managing inspections and driving down the Cost of Non-Quality (CnQ)
• Secure QMS effectiveness and maintain necessary approvals by providing evidence of compliance to authorities
• Deploy and manage the Safety Management System (SMS) for the facility
• Manage the A220 Quality operational budget and ensure inspection efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent production quality experience)
• 10+ years of experience in Aerospace or an equivalent manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of experience in a management role within Quality or an equivalent function
• Deep understanding of EASA Part 21G requirements
• Proficiency in Lean/Kaizen approaches and Root Cause Analysis methods
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within an international context

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Level Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Quality and Manufacturing Systems
