Head of Purpose and Sustainability

Responsibilities

• Lead the marketing and communications strategy for the Apex Foundation to drive engagement and visibility.
• Shape and advance the Apex Group’s corporate sustainability and CSR agenda globally.
• Develop compelling storytelling and content to showcase the impact of Foundation programmes and partnerships.
• Oversee annual reporting cycles, including ESG health checks and carbon footprint reporting.
• Manage the Women’s Accelerator external programme to support the wider purpose agenda.
• Partner with senior leadership, HR, and local boards to embed purpose-led initiatives across the business.
• Serve on the Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) Council.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in foundation management, sustainability, marketing, or communications.
• Proven experience with corporate foundations, philanthropic programmes, or social impact initiatives.
• Strong understanding of corporate sustainability frameworks and reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and working across multiple geographies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from local leadership to the Executive Committee.
• Degree in English, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
