Head of Public Acquisition

Responsibilities

• Lead the Public Acquisition Unit to generate funding and partnerships with Indonesian mass donors, including individuals, digital platforms, churches, schools, and universities.
• Develop and implement the Public Acquisition strategic plan and annual business plans in alignment with the overall Ministry Funding Strategy.
• Build and manage a mature portfolio of mass donors to support humanitarian programs and ensure the achievement of financial targets.
• Coordinate the development of communication collaterals and proposals that meet the specific interests of various donor segments.
• Manage donor relationships through engagement plans, reporting, and high-quality handover ceremonies to ensure sustainable partnerships.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for all team members within the unit.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, including safeguarding, accountability standards, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Communications, Social Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional leadership experience in Resource Development, External Engagement, or Corporate Communications.
• Proven track record of success in marketing, networking, and donor relations.
• Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken), with a minimum TOEFL score of 500.
• Experience using CRM databases and proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and manage complex work streams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and attend evening or weekend networking events as required.
• A committed Christian capable of providing spiritual leadership within the unit.
