Head of Production

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of production across film, video, photography, digital, social media, and branded content projects.
• Develop production strategies, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
• Build and maintain a high-performing production team, including producers, production managers, coordinators, and freelancers.
• Supervise projects from pre-production through post-production and final delivery.
• Ensure production schedules, budgets, and deliverables are effectively managed.
• Develop and approve project budgets and cost estimates while monitoring spending and profitability.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with suppliers, crew, talent, studios, and vendors.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop production staff and freelance talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing high-value commercial, broadcast, digital, or branded content productions.
• Strong understanding of pre-production, production, post-production, and content delivery workflows.
• Experience managing production budgets, schedules, contracts, and teams.
• Advanced project management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
