Head of Product Management and R&D

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product and R&D roadmap for the Grid & Accessories portfolio
• Drive innovation in alignment with market needs and business strategy
• Manage development projects, budgets, and timelines while balancing innovation with lifecycle management
• Monitor portfolio performance using KPIs and business cases
• Translate customer insights and market trends into technical product solutions
• Lead and develop a team of five Product Management and R&D professionals
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
• Manage external partnerships, laboratories, and technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Master's degree in a technical field
• Proven leadership experience in Product Management or R&D within an international industrial environment
• Strong project management skills combined with commercial insight
• Experience with innovation methodologies such as Agile, NPD/NPI, or stage-gate processes
• Experience with intellectual property or patent processes
• Fluency in English and Dutch; proficiency in French is a plus
• Experience in the Metal or Construction industry is preferred
