Head of Product Design

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Product Design, Design Engineering, and UX Research functions
• Set and articulate a clear design vision that aligns with company strategy and product roadmap
• Champion a high bar for craft, usability, and emotional resonance across all product surfaces
• Partner deeply with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product direction from concept to launch
• Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing design team and establish clear career paths
• Own and evolve the design system to support rapid iteration and consistency at scale
• Drive user-centered decision-making using qualitative and quantitative research insights

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience, including several years leading and scaling design teams
• Proven experience building and shipping consumer technology products at scale
• Strong background working closely with product and engineering leaders
• Exceptional taste and a strong point of view on design quality
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and move fast in a high-growth environment
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Los Angeles or NYC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI-driven, creative tools, or complex technical products
