Head of Product

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Built In, ensuring alignment with commercial outcomes.
• Drive the adoption of the platform across national bids, projects, and delivery teams.
• Translate complex construction and delivery challenges into simple, usable digital product solutions.
• Partner with Engineering, Data, AI, and Design teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Establish and monitor clear metrics for product adoption, usage, and business impact.
• Build scalable workflows and product capabilities as the platform evolves from early traction to scale.
• Navigate ambiguity to create structure, priorities, and forward momentum within a "startup within a business" environment.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in senior product leadership roles.
• Proven track record of taking products from early signal to product-market fit and scale.
• Experience with AI-enabled or data-driven products.
• Strong commercial instinct with the ability to link product decisions to margin, productivity, and risk.
• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption in complex, stakeholder-heavy environments.
• Ability to operate at an executive level while remaining close to the practicalities of the work.
• Resilient and pragmatic approach to navigating competing priorities and ambiguity.
