Head of Product and Process Industrialization (PPI)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all product and process industrialization activities within the plant to ensure successful product launches.
• Manage and develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and structured personnel development.
• Translate business and project requirements into actionable plant-level impacts, including investment, capacity, and headcount planning.
• Assess plant readiness for new product launches and process changes to ensure alignment with operational targets.
• Plan, justify, and implement investments for project-specific tooling and equipment such as molds, mandrels, and jigs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
• Act as the key interface with Business Area functions to align priorities and ensure seamless industrialization across the value chain.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in process engineering or industrialization-related roles.
• Minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role with experience managing teams.
• Hands-on experience in rubber and plastic production processes.
• Proven track record in the industrialization and ramp-up of new products and processes.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Experience working in international environments and collaborating with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structured continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or CBS.
• Exposure to multi-plant or global production networks.
• Advanced or specialized technical certifications.
