Head of Procurement GSA

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement performance across GSA, managing both COGS and Indirect spend
• Serve as the primary point of contact for country leadership, including the Country Chair and commercial leads
• Drive operational excellence and digital innovation by implementing AI and new S2P processes
• Strengthen local supplier relationships and identify innovative vendors for group-wide leverage
• Ensure strict adherence to global procurement policies, risk management, and compliance standards
• Lead transformational change and the deployment of the Procurement Digital roadmap
• Manage talent development, including succession planning, mentoring, and fostering a strong procurement culture

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement or related fields
• Proven track record in strategic and transformational leadership
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders within a complex matrix environment
• Master's degree in procurement, finance, business, or an equivalent field
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills and experience delivering sustainable organizational change
