Head of Procurement Cabin Monuments

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for the SBS Cabin Monuments procurement area, including the external supply chain and leadership of international procurement teams in Hamburg, Hungary, and Laupheim.
• Drive the strategic direction and development of the SBS Cabin Monuments procurement organization and optimize international supply chain activities across Germany, Hungary, Mexico, and the USA.
• Develop and implement category strategies, including TCO and Make-or-Buy analyses, for the Cabin Monuments division.
• Manage tender processes and oversee the design, negotiation, and optimization of contracts, including price, conditions, and central business terms.
• Manage an annual procurement volume exceeding €180 million, focusing on strategic supplier relationship management, "Transfer of Work" initiatives, and Design to Cost measures.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of professional experience in operational and strategic procurement or procurement management.
• Several years of experience in functional and disciplinary leadership, ideally within an international environment.
• Completed degree in technical fields, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken); knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
• High readiness for international travel.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive clear action plans from complex developments.
• Proven negotiation expertise in contract and supplier management with high assertiveness and decision-making strength.
