Head of Procurement

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a centralized, governed Source-to-Pay (S2P) operating model with clear RACI and standardized processes
• Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies aligned with enterprise objectives and market conditions
• Implement a standardized sourcing operating model for all third-party arrangements, including tailored frameworks for strategic partnerships
• Collaborate with owners of strategic partnerships (CDMOs, CROs, etc.) to ensure alignment with innovation priorities
• Develop and maintain robust risk mitigation plans to address supply chain disruptions and regulatory requirements
• Oversee supplier relationship management and ensure adherence to global procurement policies and performance expectations
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in R&D, Quality, Clinical Operations, Finance, and Legal to align sourcing with business priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field
• 15+ years of progressive strategic and operational procurement experience
• 7+ years of leadership experience within the biotech/pharma industry or other highly regulated sectors
• Deep expertise in biologics, clinical supply chains, and regulated environments
• Proven experience managing large, senior procurement teams in complex global environments
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency with digital procurement platforms and supply chain analytics

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree with a focus on Supply Chain or Procurement
• Experience with global sourcing specifically for biologics and advanced therapies
• Extensive experience utilizing digital procurement tools and advanced analytics platforms
