Head of Plant

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Skövde plant management team and approximately 4,000 employees through cultural and technological transformation.
• Drive the implementation of the Volvo Performance System (VPS) to ensure continuous organizational development and operational excellence.
• Define and execute world-class manufacturing strategies involving digitalization, automation, and sustainability.
• Manage financial budgeting, plant leverage initiatives, and break-even targets.
• Contribute strategic leadership and business value to the Powertrain Industrial Management Team.
• Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and autonomy by developing leadership capabilities and growing internal competencies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of senior-level experience in large-scale manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Proven track record of leading complex organizations through significant change and transformation.
• Strong ability to combine strategic thinking with high-level execution.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and motivate large teams.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
