Head of Plant SCM/Logistics

Responsibilities

• Deliver 98% of customer requirements on time and in requested quantities using optimal transportation methods
• Schedule and monitor production programs to ensure timely shipments
• Coordinate efficient receipt, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished products at minimal cost
• Manage the launch of new programs and engineering changes
• Ensure material purchases meet quantity, quality, and timeframe requirements for continuous production
• Evaluate and mitigate production line stoppages caused by material shortages or inventory levels
• Implement production control systems including Kanban, line delivery, and level scheduling
• Establish and verify departmental procedures and work instructions

Requirements

• 10 years of solid working experience in Materials, Shipping, or relevant functions
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree
• Advanced English fluency
• Expertise in Production Planning and Scheduling
• Knowledge of Kanban and material flow systems
• Strong transformation competence and organizational development skills
• Proficiency in business and finance management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Portal Management
• Knowledge of Logistics Project Evaluation and Management
• Expertise in Design, Flow, and Packaging Fleets
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills
