Responsibilities
- Define and lead the industrial engineering strategy for scalable UAV manufacturing
- Design and implement factory layout, including production zones, assembly lines, and testing facilities
- Establish efficient material flow, workstations, and production infrastructure
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement
- Develop standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and documentation
- Define production capacity planning models based on demand and equipment utilization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Establish and monitor production KPIs including throughput, efficiency, yield, and downtime
- Implement manufacturing systems, automation, and digital monitoring tools
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, production, quality, and supply chain
- Support the transition from prototype development to full-scale production
- Identify production risks and operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
Requirements
- Experience defining industrial engineering strategies for scalable manufacturing
- Expertise in factory layout design and production infrastructure
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Ability to develop standardized manufacturing processes and documentation
- Experience with production capacity planning and demand forecasting
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Ability to monitor and manage production KPIs
- Experience implementing manufacturing automation and digital monitoring tools
- Proven ability to manage the transition from prototype to full-scale production
