Head of Planning Logistics

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the logistics planning department, providing both functional and disciplinary leadership to your team.
• Manage and optimize planning processes across the entire supply chain, including inventory, material, production, sales, and demand planning.
• Drive the continuous improvement of information flows, master data structures, and logistical planning processes.
• Implement global logistics standards and best practices to ensure sustainable process efficiency.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate appropriate corrective or improvement measures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and service providers, to negotiate logistical frameworks.
• Lead complex logistics and transformation projects from conception through implementation.

Requirements

• University degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Multi-year experience in logistics planning, supply chain management, or production planning, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Proven multi-year experience in leadership roles or managing large-scale projects and teams.
• Proficiency in SAP and standard logistics modules.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to handle high complexity.
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills for interacting with business partners.
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
