Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on organizational design, leadership development, and workforce strategy
- Develop managers and leaders across the company to raise leadership quality
- Own the People function, including HR business partnership, operations, employee relations, compensation, and compliance
- Build systems, processes, and tools to support a rapidly growing business
- Lead the evolution of workforce strategy, including hiring, mobility, and immigration
- Partner with Talent, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure scalable and compliant growth
- Reinforce cultural values and practices across the employee experience
Requirements
- Experience leading a People business function through significant growth stages
- Proven track record of scaling teams, systems, and processes in a founder-led business
- Expertise in core People programs: performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance
- Ability to use data and outcome-based descriptions to articulate impact
- Experience navigating organizational complexity while maintaining operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience at a deep tech, hardware, or aerospace startup (Series A/B to growth stages)
- Familiarity with AI tools
- A zeal for flight and experience flying drones or aircraft
- Design or photography skills
