Head of People

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing local HR team
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR strategy and organizational priorities
• Partner with Store Managers, Area Managers, and local leadership to drive performance and engagement
• Drive leadership development, talent attraction, and retention initiatives
• Ensure strong local execution of the Group HR strategy for the French market
• Manage employee relations, including CSE and occupational health topics
• Use HR data and workforce insights to inform decision-making
• Oversee core HR processes including workforce planning and compensation practices

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a managerial HR role, ideally in international retail or multi-site environments
• Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders
• Experience leading HR teams and driving end-to-end people agendas
• Expertise in leadership development, talent management, and organizational change
• Understanding of large-scale workforce planning, employee relations, and operational HR complexity
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement
• Proficiency in using data and insights for strategic prioritization
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Based in Paris
• Fluency in French and excellent command of English
