Responsibilities

  • Build and enforce KPI frameworks across every team
  • Identify underperformance early and drive improvement plans or transitions
  • Partner with Finance to tie team performance to economic output
  • Ensure clear ownership, roles, and accountability across all functions
  • Build and manage headcount planning in partnership with Finance
  • Align hiring plans with budget, revenue goals, and TPV growth
  • Own and evolve the company's compensation philosophy, salary bands, and equity grant framework
  • Build reporting on headcount, productivity, and cost efficiency
  • Design benefits programs appropriate to our stage
  • Own the end-to-end hiring process across all functions using a data-driven approach
  • Standardize interview processes and build fast-ramping onboarding
  • Own employment compliance, offer letters, and multi-state registrations
  • Build career paths and progression frameworks to retain top performers
  • Monitor engagement, workload, and risk to reinforce operating culture

Requirements

  • Experience building a performance or KPI framework from scratch
  • Ability to model headcount against budget and revenue
  • Experience building a people or operations function at a 30-150 person company
  • High-speed execution with a low-ego approach
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and data-driven decision making
