About the Company

Moment Energy is a cleantech company repurposing large-format batteries into advanced battery energy storage systems. They are focused on building a world where clean power is abundant, affordable, and uninterrupted.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a People strategy to support growth and long-term business goals
• Drive organizational design and workforce planning for new markets and manufacturing facilities
• Partner with co-founders on organizational planning and leadership development
• Advise leadership on team structure, performance management, and employee development
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to enhance recruiting strategies
• Collaborate with Marketing on employer branding
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage sensitive employee matters
• Foster a mission-driven culture and lead employee engagement initiatives
• Design and implement scalable performance management and compensation programs
• Lead and mentor the People team, including Talent Acquisition and Office Administration

Requirements

• 7+ years of HR/People leadership experience
• Experience in high-growth tech or manufacturing startups (Series A to Series C)
• Proven ability to build HR programs and processes from the ground up
• Strong understanding of talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
• Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or cleantech is highly preferred
• Deep understanding of BC Employment Standards
