Head of People, EMEA

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional and global leaders to align people strategy with business goals
• Lead complex employee matters and act as an escalation point for high-risk issues
• Drive initiatives across performance management, engagement, and organizational design
• Support change management, restructuring, and workforce planning
• Guide a distributed People Operations & Workplace Experience team
• Ensure seamless execution of onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
• Maintain compliance and consistency across policies and employee relations
• Oversee office operations and vendor partnerships to enhance workplace experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR / People roles, spanning both business partnering and operations
• Experience working in a fast-paced organization
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide teams
• Strong knowledge of Hungarian employment law
• Fluency in both Hungarian and English
• Experience supporting multi-country regions, ideally across EMEA
• Solid background in employee relations, organizational design, and change management
• Ability to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a data-driven mindset
