About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the People function, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape company culture and ensure alignment with organizational values and mission.
  • Develop and implement strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent in alignment with long-term goals.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and employee development plans.
  • Create competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with industry standards and company objectives.
  • Oversee workforce planning and forecasting in partnership with finance and executive leadership.
  • Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment.
  • Monitor and analyze people data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improving people practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience working in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Strong expertise in startup equity, including working with ISOs and RSUs.
  • Experience with HR technology, including HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence organizational culture and business outcomes alongside executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other relevant HR certifications.
  • Expertise in compensation strategy and benefits design.
  • Experience leading organizational change and scaling teams during rapid growth periods.
