Head of People Benelux

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic business partnering and advice to leadership teams across the Netherlands and Belgium
• Advise stakeholders on workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, and talent development
• Manage the delivery of key people processes, including reward strategies, payroll coordination, and cyclical business processes
• Ensure compliance with Dutch and Belgian legislative frameworks, including health and safety and Works Council management
• Handle employee relations issues, providing coaching to managers and resolving root causes
• Utilize a data-driven approach to identify trends and inform strategic people decisions
• Support organizational change and transformation initiatives within a complex, matrixed environment

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Extensive progressive HR experience, ideally within a creative or fast-paced environment
• Proven track record in a senior generalist people partnering role with senior stakeholders
• Strong working knowledge of Dutch and Belgian employment legislation and compliance
• Fluency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency with Workday, Google Suite, and experience using data/AI tools to enhance services
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complex team dynamics autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the music, tech, or media industries
• Hands-on experience working in post-acquisition or highly transformative environments
• Previous experience in line management to engage and motivate a team
