About the Company

Astro Mechanica is a vertically integrated aerospace company building a faster, more connected future. Our mission is to democratize high-speed flight by making supersonic travel flexible, accessible, and sustainable through advanced airframe and engine technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own all HR functions including talent acquisition, people operations, total rewards, performance management, employee experience, compliance, and organizational design
• Build and scale HR systems to support 5x current company size
• Partner with the CEO, COO, and technical leadership to contribute to company strategy
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top-tier technical talent in a competitive market

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR/People leadership experience
• Proven experience scaling a company from under 100 to several hundred employees
• Demonstrated success building in-house talent acquisition functions
• Experience designing practical performance management systems
• Ability to operate effectively in high-growth, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of California employment law
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or hardware-intensive industries
