Head of Operations

Responsibilities

• Own serviceability performance by driving key metrics including fill rate, worker consistency, launch ramp performance, and onsite quality.
• Lead operational execution to solve high-impact challenges affecting workforce reliability, recruiting efficiency, and market health.
• Scale operational systems and infrastructure by building the processes, tooling, and playbooks required to support rapid growth.
• Drive marketplace and account performance through close partnership with Customer Ops, Worker Ops, Growth, Finance, and Product teams.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team to refine strategy and allocate resources for long-term success.

Requirements

• 8-18 years of total professional experience, including a senior operating role at a high-growth, operationally complex startup (Series A through Series C).
• Strong mastery of marketplace and physical-world operating metrics such as unit economics, payback periods, and launch ramp dynamics.
• Proven experience as a systems builder, with the ability to scale manual processes into automated, repeatable workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally and drive outcomes across departments like sales, finance, and product.
• An "Olympian" work ethic with a player-coach mindset, comfortable moving between high-level strategy and granular execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with two-sided platform businesses.
• Background as a collegiate or professional athlete, or experience in military service.
• Direct experience in supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations.
• Proficiency in data and analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Looker.
