AnyVan is a logistics technology company dedicated to making moving anything, anywhere more efficient. Founded in 2009, the company aims to reduce wasted miles by filling empty vans, serving millions of customers across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead French customer operations, managing a multi-site, French-speaking team across Cape Town and Senegal.
• Oversee the end-to-end customer experience, including complaint resolution, damage claims, and refunds.
• Optimize job matching to transport partners to maximize profitability and minimize last-minute gaps.
• Grow and manage the transport-partner network by recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining high standards.
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and the strategic use of AI.
• Manage commercial performance metrics including NPS, operating margin, and cost to serve.

Requirements

• Experience in the French consumer market (e-commerce, contact centers, transportation, or logistics).
• Proven operations leadership in high-volume, customer-facing, or marketplace environments.
• Fluency in both French and English with deep understanding of the French customer base.
• Experience leading and developing multi-site or remote teams.
• Data-driven mindset with a focus on commercial margins and operational efficiency.
• Ability to work from the Cape Town office during European operating hours.
• Demonstrated experience using AI to drive operational efficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in removals, transportation, last-mile delivery, or supplier models.
• Experience managing a supplier, driver, or partner network.
