Head of Ocean Freight Growth US - NORAM

Responsibilities

• Drive volume growth across all Ocean Freight Forwarding (OFR) products in coordination with country management and regional product heads
• Guide country pricing strategy to achieve growth ambitions and drive execution across stations
• Manage the Country OCC team and oversee large tenders within the regional OCC as part of the global RFQ process
• Spearhead RFQ analytics to improve win ratios and drive automation within the tender management setup
• Develop and execute local trade lane plans via RDMs across all OFR products
• Align and set clear growth directions in collaboration with the M&S organization across all sales channels
• Drive senior commercial product engagement in large tenders during the pre-RFQ period
• Act as the regional focal point for product development and M&S alignment

Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience in the Ocean Freight Forwarding industry
• Proven leadership experience with a successful track record of managing teams
• Strong commercial mindset and result orientation
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a multinational, large-scale corporate environment
• Ability to manage functional teams virtually and lead large internal/external meetings
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%
