Head of Non-Payment Insurance

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Non-Payment Insurance business from inception through the design and implementation of a business plan
• Act as Active Underwriter leading day-to-day underwriting decisions and portfolio performance
• Structure and assess complex transactions involving project finance, single name corporates, and structured finance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, brokers, reinsurers, and investors
• Develop and advise on underwriting and portfolio risk frameworks
• Take an active role in business development, marketing efforts, and external representation
• Advise on and create a reinsurance programme to support underwriting capacity
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of underwriters over time

Requirements

• Significant proven underwriting experience in credit and non-payment insurance markets
• Strong familiarity with the Lloyd’s market
• Excellent relationships with brokers and banks in structured credit and trade finance
• Expertise in corporate credit, infrastructure, and project finance transactions
• Experience with third-party investor structures and alternative capital solutions
• Strong credit analysis and transaction structuring capability
• Proven leadership capability and entrepreneurial mindset
