Head of Mining Business Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with country management and corporate objectives
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and lead contract negotiations
• Create forecasts to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Collaborate closely with Projects, Operations, and Customer Service departments
• Identify new market opportunities and expand service scope with existing clients
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure service delivery and problem resolution
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to generate leads
• Provide insights to support marketing initiatives and increase brand visibility
• Assist in the implementation of CRM systems to support global sales pipelines

Requirements

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Production Engineering, or a related field
• Proven industry experience in similar business development or technical commercial roles
• Advanced proficiency in English (indispensable)
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Availability for frequent national and international travel
