Head of Markets Portfolio Management COO

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level operational leadership for the centralized Markets Portfolio Management function
• Support centralized portfolio oversight, including underwriting, independent review, and risk assessment
• Design and manage the operating model, including governance routines, processes, and decision frameworks
• Partner with Risk, Credit, Compliance, and Legal to ensure alignment with enterprise governance
• Manage financial and strategic planning, including budget planning and resource allocation
• Deliver portfolio analytics and insights to senior Markets leadership
• Serve as a key interface between portfolio management and senior stakeholders across Lines of Business

Requirements

• 7+ years of corporate & investment banking business management or leadership experience
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in portfolio management, credit risk, underwriting, or related functions within Markets or Banking
• Strong understanding of credit and risk governance frameworks and regulatory expectations
• Proven ability to design and operate complex, cross-functional operating models
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale execution and transformation initiatives
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
