Head of Logistics

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire logistics process chain from goods receipt to shipping
• Lead and develop large teams to ensure efficient warehouse and transport operations
• Optimize the logistics complaint process and strengthen collaboration with external service providers
• Drive logistics outsourcing projects (3PL) from planning and tendering to implementation
• Coordinate closely with production departments and adjacent process chains to ensure seamless supply chain flows

Requirements

• Completed technical or commercial education; a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
• Several years of leadership experience, specifically managing large teams in a logistics or supply chain environment
• Proven experience in 3PL outsourcing projects and managing external service providers
• Strong knowledge of intralogistics within a production environment
• Proficiency in continuous improvement methods such as KVP and LEAN

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or advanced knowledge in Six Sigma
• Experience with REFA or MTM methods
