Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the data privacy and regulatory landscape impacting Juicebox
• Help make product feature and capability decisions while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Own all legal workflows across the company
• Partner with outside counsel on privacy, regulatory, employment, corporate, and financing matters
• Negotiate and manage data vendor agreements critical to the product and business
• Own commercial contract negotiations with customers and support the sales team
• Lead the legal components of venture financings, corporate governance, and strategic transactions
• Build scalable legal processes, systems, and operating frameworks
• Partner closely with product, engineering, sales, and leadership teams to evaluate risk
• Serve as a trusted advisor to founders on legal, operational, and strategic matters

Requirements

• 6+ years of legal experience, ideally across a top law firm and a high-growth technology company
• Experience advising technology companies on data privacy, compliance, and commercial contracts
• Strong understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding data and privacy
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and vendor contracts
• Familiarity with venture financings, corporate governance, and general corporate matters
• Strong business judgment and ability to balance legal risk with growth objectives
• Pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
• High ownership mentality and comfort operating as a team of one
