Responsibilities

• Own Lucidya's legal and compliance strategy to enable business growth while managing risk
• Streamline commercial contracting processes for customers, vendors, and partners
• Lead the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) program, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II
• Act as Data Protection Officer ensuring compliance with Saudi PDPL and GDPR
• Lead corporate legal matters including board governance, M&A, and due diligence
• Enable regional expansion by managing legal requirements for new entities in the GCC
• Build and lead a lean Legal & Compliance team

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience with in-house leadership in technology or SaaS
• Qualified lawyer with expertise in commercial, corporate, and technology law
• Experience with Saudi law and the KSA/GCC regulatory environment
• Proven ownership of compliance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and data protection (PDPL/GDPR)
• Hands-on M&A and corporate transaction experience
• Experience in regulated industries such as public sector, banking, or telecom
• Fluent in English; Arabic is strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Pre-IPO or capital-markets readiness experience
• Track record of scaling legal functions in high-growth companies
