Head of Legal

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's legal strategy to align with business objectives and global regulatory requirements
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management regarding IPO considerations and corporate governance
• Oversee corporate governance practices and ensure compliance with international laws and regulations
• Lead contract negotiations with senior stakeholders to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation
• Facilitate the IPO process by coordinating with external advisors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee the management and protection of the company's global intellectual property portfolio
• Manage disputes, litigation matters, and crisis management plans to address legal and reputational risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred
• 10+ years of experience in legal and corporate affairs, ideally within an SME tech business
• In-depth knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance across different jurisdictions
• Proven experience with IPO processes, including legal documentation and regulatory filings
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting with senior stakeholders
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
