Head of Korea Compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely, and practical advice regarding Korean regulatory requirements
• Act as the primary internal contact for algorithm development and business development teams
• Build and maintain relationships with Korean regulators such as the FSS and KRX
• Review new business initiatives for compliance before launch
• Assist in the design and review of trade surveillance reports
• Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies and procedures
• Assist in periodic compliance risk assessments and reviews
• Investigate and prepare responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, law, or related field
• 15+ years of direct experience in Korea regulatory matters
• Strong relationships with Korean regulators
• Extensive knowledge of Korean market structure
• Familiarity with algorithmic proprietary trading strategies and technology
• Native fluency in Korean and proficiency in English
• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills
