Head of IT

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global IT strategy, roadmap, and budget across corporate IT, end-user computing, identity, and internal networking.
• Scale the IT organization to support rapid headcount growth, including hiring and building regional coverage in the US, EMEA, and APAC.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) workflows, including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle automation.
• Oversee endpoint fleet management for macOS, Windows, and Linux using MDM and zero-touch provisioning.
• Govern the SaaS portfolio through vendor selection, contract management, and spend control.
• Manage corporate networking, Wi-Fi, VPN/ZTNA, and office buildouts for expanding sites.
• Ensure IT audit readiness and compliance by partnering with Security, Legal, and Finance on SOX ITGCs and SOC 2.
• Provide executive support for leadership, board, and investor-facing interactions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate IT.
• 5+ years of experience leading IT functions within high-growth technology companies.
• Proven track record of scaling IT operations through 2x-5x headcount growth.
• Hands-on technical experience with identity providers (Okta, Entra) and MDM solutions (Jamf, Intune).
• Direct experience operating in environments subject to SOX ITGCs or equivalent control frameworks.
• Strong technical depth in networking, endpoint security, and modern SaaS governance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with executive leadership and audit committees.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI/ML research organizations, semiconductor, or hardware engineering teams.
• Experience managing IT for hardware labs or manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to global expansion, specifically within EMEA and the Middle East.
• Experience working in environments with sensitive IP and export-control considerations.
