Responsibilities

• Own Base’s security posture end-to-end, including risk assessment, tool selection, monitoring, and incident response.
• Develop and execute an IT strategy that anticipates growth across new facilities and an expanding workforce.
• Manage and up-level the existing internal support function.
• Own the lifecycle of all corporate technology assets, including hardware and software procurement and vendor negotiations.
• Lead the evaluation, procurement, and governance of AI tools across the company.
• Design, deploy, and maintain wired and wireless networks across HQ, factory, and warehouse locations.
• Identify and automate repetitive IT processes such as account provisioning and device enrollment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, IT, or Security.
• 3+ years of people management experience in a leadership role owning a broad IT function.
• Expertise in cybersecurity (endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, firewall management).
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or SOC 2.
• Experience building IT infrastructure in both office and manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong command of identity and access management, MDM, and enterprise SaaS administration.
• Experience evaluating and deploying AI tools for enterprise productivity.
• Experience in a high-growth scale-up environment.
