Head of IT and Cybersecurity

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic IT plan aligned with business objectives
• Oversee IT infrastructure management, performance, and reliability
• Serve as the primary owner of the company's cybersecurity posture
• Implement enterprise security measures including MFA, SSO, and endpoint protection
• Lead a high-performing IT and cybersecurity team of 5+
• Manage IT budgeting, vendor negotiations, and external service providers
• Oversee and prioritize complex IT projects and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as PCI, SOC 2, and ITGC
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with external MSSPs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience
• At least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity
• Proven experience with IT budgeting and vendor negotiation
• Experience managing complex IT systems (ERP, ITSM, telephony, etc.)
• Experience with platform integrations, APIs, and single sources of truth
• Experience leading or supporting IT audits
