Head of Infrastructure Operations

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global infrastructure operations strategy aligned with organizational goals and technology roadmaps.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across network, server, cloud, storage, workplace, and platform environments.
• Lead major incident management, problem management, and operational risk mitigation activities.
• Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, automation, and infrastructure optimization.
• Manage infrastructure operational and capital budgets, including cost optimization and vendor contract negotiations.
• Lead, coach, and develop geographically distributed teams of infrastructure managers and technical leaders.
• Partner with Information Security to ensure services remain secure, compliant, and resilient through disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or technology services.
• Significant leadership experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
• Proven track record of leading geographically distributed operational and support teams.
• Demonstrated success in delivering infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Strong experience in budget management, supplier relationships, and strategic technology partnerships.
• Deep understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL), cloud/hybrid platforms, and cybersecurity controls.
